“WOOT WOOT, FREEDOM!!” Once again another training session begins with the circles drawn out on the dry erase board and the Diamond-shaped 4-Basics to successfully sponsoring a new IBO in your Quixtar powered business. You look at the time and you know it’s going to a looong night. At the end of all the rah-rah and the excitement, you go home disappointed and rather frustrated that nothing new was taught in the training and that you still have yet to sign up a new IBO or even to make what would be considered a decent sale to move more PV volume.
You might ask: How the heck do you know that?!
Trust me, I’ve been there, done that, and finally got out of the rut. Those are commodities that people are going to need, whether they are interested in making money in your Quixtar business or not.
Let’s face it, we only have 24 hours in a day and we can either spend them walking around a mall looking for someone “sharp” to ask about making extra money or you can begin drawing people who desperately NEED that XS Energy Drink or Aritistry Makeup Kit to your business. When you primarily focus on marketing Quixtar products, you are not only establishing yourself as the expert in a particular area, but people respect you for providing a solution to their need(s).
TRULY successful leaders in this industry have realized that if they solely focus on signing up new IBO’s, they will have to face the reality that the majority of these IBO’s will quit in a short amount of time. Online marketing through tools such as advertising using Google AdSense is a really powerful way to get YOU in front of people who are actively LOOKING for the benefits of YOUR product. Is it better to have people come to you who are fatigued, looking for more energy to get them going or to ask random people in your neighborhood if they like energy drinks? Not everyone drawing a breath is going to want XS, though many could benefit from it. The key is to understand your audience and what their needs are and more importantly, what kind of solution are they looking for? This will make it easier for them to identify with you and brand you as a knowledgeable expert. You can also “kick it up a notch” by using more advanced stuff like MySpace and YouTube to increase your coverage.
HERE’S THE BOTTOM LINE: Do you honestly want to continue working your business for so many years only to have IBO’s drop out left and right because of the exceedingly high costs of staying “plugged in to the System?” Weren’t you told of how you would achieve financial independence or “freedom” if you stuck with the training system?
