What’s a better investment?
A conservative estimate of the money spent by the U.S. on the war in Iraq is about $450 billion. That works out to $1,500 for every man, woman, and child in the U.S. – or about $3,000 per household.
How much oil would we save if we had simply used the money to put solar panels on every home in the U.S.???
Don’t kid yourself if you think this war was about anything but oil. Same with the war in Iran (oops, that hasn’t started….yet).
Instead of spending trillions of dollars and sacrificing thousands of lives, why don’t we invest in alternative energy? The oil is going to run out anyway, where as the sun and the wind will be here forever.
