Do you think solar energy is a good idea?
Hennepin county, Minnesota spent $900,000 on solar panels for a library roof but the panels will only save $15,000 a year. The county won’t actually start saving money until the year 2070. Is that worth it?

I think solar energy is a good idea…
…but in that specific instance, it’s not, because the technology they just installed will be obsolete by 2015.
I agree with r8der… something stinks.
Looks like the taxpayers got swindled again through the organized crime mechanism known as “government”!
