Would it be possible to create a 9V battery out of calculator solar cells?
Well after my Casio calculator circuit died, I just had a crazy idea of putting all these broken calculators’ solar/PV cells together to create a 9V, 5V power source to use it on my breadboard with PIC microcontroller. Anyone gave it a try before?
well PIC takes 5V, but 9V would be fine since I have a regulator. And yes, supply seems like a fitting term.
You will need many solar cells to power anything. I like to take power supply out of obsolete scrap computer and use it. Some of the wires are already 5V.
